I have been watching this for a day or to just to make sure that this is alive and it is so please clue me into what it is. It is those little white sacks that look hollow and are verry small. But if i watch closely and keep looking it has a little white hair that extends out, waves around for a bit then gets sucked back in. what is it?

It sounds like some type of tube worm. Hitchhiking tube worm

    Does it have two hairs?

Edit: Could be a vermetid snail

No it only has one. Is this something that I want to try and get rid of or is it harmless?

    Most likely harmless.

If it's a vermetid snail it may annoy polyps with it's thread. It won't harm them though.

Will a tube worm hurt anything?

Nope. It will just grab food from the water.
