plug and go?

What's the best hang on skimmer for a new salt tank I'll be putting together next week? Ballpark-$150-$200 New to salt water and I've been reading all I can get my hands on! Tank will be SHOWLR.

You may want to look into the Eshopps skimmers. They are budget friendly and they do the job.

 

I would go with the hydro slim skimmer

go with the slim skim versus the nano. IMO it is always better to get a skimmer that is a little more powerful than what you want.

Depending on the type of tank you have, many can fit into the back of the tank

If not, then go with the aqua c remora

I love my CPR Aero Force. I just took it down on Friday after running it since when they came out a few years ago. Rarely had to fiddle with it, just empty and clean the cup. IN the entire time I owned it, I only had to clean the salt creep out of the air intake 3 times.
