ok i mine as well explain now... Considering i have a cadlight, there is a bulkhead on the far right middle of the tank for the return. I wanted to fill that hole, drive the water from the pump into 2 different pvc pipes leading into the tank but at different points of entry so i have more control over where the flow is directed. And im going to be completely honest here, i am just doing this to screw with the tank. Of coarse its not necessary, but i always have to be doing something constructive with the tank or i get bored of it :p

Ok here are the horrible sketches made in microsoft word ;D i work with what i got :D Anyways, you should be able to get the point... o ya and if its a 400 gph pump, can i even split the water up into two different returns? And im kinda new to this idea so, is the return rate for each return 200 gph? or are they going to be uneven? how do i get them the same (considering im splitting a 400 gph pump into 2 different returns...)?

Is it a threaded or slip bulkhead?

ok here are some updated plans. Hope the pictures explain themselves. I am also upgrading to an 800 gph pump to boost each returns output. Tell me what you think! is it logical/going to work?

You should be able to get the plugs at any home depot or lowes. As a last resort any of the aquarium supply stores (marine depot or fosters) has them. Just do a google.
