It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Sps slime for 3 reasons, dipping, fragging and exposure to air.

Poci vs anything and poci wins IME. Mine has been battling my orange monti cap and winning for a while now.

In my experience with pocillipora they will sting other sps corals. I have only had them placed next to birdsnest corals, which are very easily bullied. Unless your tank is totally packed with corals though I wouldn't worry about it stinging.

Generally OK if kept away from other corals, but if it decides to spread via polyp bail out the polyps will do damage to corals they land on.

My experience agrees here, but I did have a Tyree Undata win when those two got too close. I was quite surprised.

Mine only seem to land on the rocks. ALL OVER THE TANK. At least mine's pretty...

I have yet to experience this. I'm not looking forward to it. I have thought about pulling it out and selling it because of it. I just really like the coral and it's doing so well....

I have had them land on my Cyphastrea and take out a few polyps.

hmm pocillopora is doing poorly. Had it up top and apparently it was too much light? How quickly will bleaching occur? Anyways i moved it down to sand bed. Guess we will see how it likes this.
