Has anyone looked at their tank through polarized glasses? If you have some and you haven't..do it now! Everything looks so much better! The contrast is amazing and all the corals are a lot brighter. Go give it a shot! I wonder how much a tank made out of polarized glass would be...

I have Costa Del Mars with green lenses..it may just be the green lenses that do it now that I think about it. Either way..it's worth a shot.

I haven't with water in it. But have done the polarized filter/polarized glasses test to see if the glass was tempered. But hmm..maybe my fishin shades will finally come in handy! Lord knows you can only see into the water with them if there's 0 wind and the surface is like glass. lol

dont think making a tank with a polarized glass is possible. for glasses they are amazing and if you spend lots of time near the water then they are a must. basicalyy they work like venitian blinds, only allowing light to come in a certain angle, thus reducing glare.

take your glasses and hold them infront of you about a 1ft.while looking at the PC screen. while looking through the lens, start tilting and rotating the glasses. it should black out in some angles.

It technically would be possible to make a fish tank out of Polarization material. But as polarization can only be achieved with a tinted finish, it would kind of be pointless.
