In my city there is two main and big rivers.
It used to be so clean before 65 years ago that people used to bath, swim, wash their cloth, farmers used to wash their vegetables, and use the water for household things. 80 years ago they used to drink from the river. There were lots of fish.
But as the city began to developed the river began to became a drain.
it is no different from a drain
There is no water only urine and stool and other toilet water flows.
All the green has gone and the fishes also. i feel so sad
I am in my 30's i feel unlucky for this. I go to see river once a month from my home it's only 60 KM away from my home. I watch the scene and there are lots of fish shop. I go to one of them and eat some fried fish. They are very famous for fried fish.
Nepal is famous for lot of rivers.

Don't you listen to the politicians?: its filed under the code words "deregulation" and "Big Goverment" ....
basically the industrialist puppets in office will say enviormental regulations "cost jobs", but they never mention what the air and water is like in China where the jobs went....
