It really could be anything. They may be irritated.
    When did you get them?
    What are your parameters?
    Lighting?
    Any other coral close by?

As i mentioned i got it 2 days back from the LFS
    My pH is low 8.0
    Nitrates 10
    Ammonia 0
Lighting are 2 power compact High fluoroscent and a blue T5
There are no other corals near it ,

I forgot to mention that i have a Naso tang and when I had actually put these polyp into the tank there were some red bamboo algae on it..My Naso was very bz with that and cleaned it off..do you think the presence of the tang is irritating it?

They're probably just getting used to the tank. Some folks have reported 1-2 weeks timeframes for adjustment. Some have had polyps open 5 minutes into introduction. It just depends.

In my zoa experience ones that are fragged/aquacultured are much more tolerant to any changes. You can take them out, throw them around, put them back in, and 5 minutes later they're open. Zoas that are wild collected take much longer to adjust to any changes, more like 3-4, even 5-6 days. Those sure look like they were collected; I'd just be patient. They're partially open now, not closed super tight, so I think you'll be fine.

i have 4 colonies of zoas/palys that have spent most of the last week or 2 closed, i am confused by this because i increased my lighting by 30-45 mins but since i have seen them closed more they have had a big growth jump, one got 2 new polyps from 12 to 14, one went from 6 to what looks like 15-20ish, the other 2 went from 4 to about 8.
