    I've had one for over 18 months. Every time I decide he's dead (today for instance), he shows up.

    Finlly confirmed he is infact alive and well. Found a molt 3 days ago and took this tonight! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1364781478.644065.jpg

    This hobby is sooo cool some days!!

    he probably did not loose both pom poms completely. If he has any left, it will grow and he will split it and share it between the 2 claws.

    I barely see mine in my 28g.....maybe a couple times a year. They are tough little crabs.

    I did notice he had poms on both claws! He's pretty cool!!!!

    I had two hitchike on some petco live rock and there always out waving there pom poms. One lost his poms and the other crab gave him one. Really cool and neat looking guys.

    SO true! So happy he made it! I have to agree with the other poster, if he survived a week in a bucket probably a tough little bugger :)
