    Hey All,

Today when I woke up I took a look at my tank as usual and I noticed some white oval spots on my garf purple bonsai which caused me some concern. The spots are approximately a cm in diameter. I also saw smaller white oval spots on my ORA red planet as well. Upon closer inspection with a 40x jeweler's magnifying glass I noticed no eggs or AEFW per se but the trademark spots are noticeable.

Yesterday I checked my parameters because I was feeling something wasn't quite right and they are as follows:

    Sg- 1.025
    Mg- 1450
    Alk- 8.5
    Ca- 420
    No3- .5ppm
    Po4- undetectable

    Any help is much appreciated.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would google "Acropora Eating FW egg images" and "Acropora Eating FW bite marks".

It does appear that you do have an issue. Knock on wood I have never had the pleasure of AEFW.

Let us know what you think after comparing images.

    Yup, that's the guy.

Eggs are typically found on the shaded parts of the coral skeleton (not on live tissue) or at the shaded parts of the near the coral's base (on the rock/plug/etc).
