I got a small crab, an urchin, and a red thing that I can't really see because it's between coral heads (possibly a starfish of some kind) with the piece of rock today. Other than that the percula clown(sp?).

The mantis shrimp which is most likely a smasher type is a not too much of a threat to the fish as long as he is kept full. Fish are not typically part of the diet of smashers, they prefer crabs, snails, clams etc. Your gorilla crab is most likely a goner.

Well at least that's one problem solved. I fed him last night and actually saw him in the open. I guess is it's a the Carribean Rock Mantis because my LFS only gets Floridian LR. So he's probally going to kill any small crabs, shrimp etc, but what about the urchin and the brittle star?

By the way, I plan on getting him out and putting him in my school tank because this one is going to maximize inverts and only have a few fish.
