Can someone direct me to a link or explain the best way to post a picture on a thread and my avatar?? I'm mostly having problems shrinking the file down to the right size. Also, I would like to post the pics without people needing to click on the "attached file" to view the pic. Thank you..

    Sure!

On the left side of the website you should see a link that says "Photos", above "reviews" and below "Forums". Click on that and then upload photo. If you need to resize a photo you try this website Online Image Resizer - Resize digital photo, images or pictures online!

Once you have photos uploaded to 3reef when posting a ...post you click on the little image icon and copy and paste the adress of the photo. (right click the photo and click properties for adress).

    hope this helps!

You can also have a photo hosting site like photo bucket. In Photo bucket below each picture will be image tags
    [IMG]

You can then copy the IMG tag line directly into a post with out resizing. 3reef will do it for you

I couldn't figure out the Online Resizer (it wouldn't resize small enough), but photo bucket seems to work good.. Thanks..

No your Avatar requires you to resize the image on your computer to fit the guide lines.
either pixel by pixel or over all file size. most photo editing software will do this for you. If you PM me the link to the photo I can resize it tomorrow and re post it for you. then you can upload it to your Avatar
