Power compact vs t5

    Hello all! so here is my delima:

    should i get a 30" PC that is 65W or a 30" T5 that is 96W. my aquarium is 30X12X18

    No one should buy power compacts anymore. They are outdated technology. T-5 are much more efficient and actually when considering bulb replacement, now much cheaper.

    I would say go with the T5HO, you have about 3 times the power in comparison with the PC fixture you were looking at and can keep any photosynthetic animal you like in the tank.

    I would go with T-5. They are more efficient than power compacts
