Is your tank already running and stocked? What kind of livestock do you have/plan to keep? What else do you have for flow?

That pump alone only provides a little over 20x for your tank. That would be sufficient for most soft corals and some lps; however, the problem with a single pump in a tank that size is that you will have a lot of extreme low-flow areas and dead zones. If you want to stay with 20x for softies, you'll do much better with 2 smaller pumps, one on each end... Or, you can get another 1250 and double your flow which will give much better coverage and will also allow for any lps and some low - moderate flow sps, providing you also have proper lighting and filtration, of course. :)

IMO better to have several smaller pumps creating random currents than a single large pump with a constant flow. just get a couple more and you should be fine
