Grrrrr.....okay I used my Koralia 4 power head for the first time last night to help mix water for my new tank. Just now I plugged it in to mix up more water, and the thing won't work!! The motor is running, but the propeller won't spin.

Does anyone know what could be wrong? And how to fix it?

Thank you and karma to you!

stick a pencil in there and give the blade a quick spin...usually does it for me!

    +1 (only I use a toothpic)

if it still doesn't work, take it apart and put it back together. I've had to do that too before.

Okay that didn't work. What's weird is that when I take half of the casing off, the propeller spins fine. But when I put the casing back on, it stops....

on the inside of casing, is there these little fins? there are two ways you can put this on... you can basically flip it over (the casing) and put it on... it looks at first glance to be irrelevant, but the way the fins are lined up on mine, it makes a difference.

Try taking the casing off, rotate it 180 degrees and put it back on.

It worked!! Thank you!! How weird....it doesn't seem like it would matter which way the casing is on - it looks the same to me on the inside.

    Thank you! :)

It won't let me give you any more karma, so I'm giving you some this way! Karma!!

sometimes when I take my casing off, when I reinstall it the metal pin is not properly aligned and it will do that.. good you got it working..
