So you have power heads and anemone let me know how your doing. What's your secret. Or did you loose a few or all of them or is it impossible. I heard its possible. Are you that lucky? What's did you do, what do you have in your tank. [IMG] Those of us who can't make it work would like to know.

Well when i got my first bta, I wrapped the powerheads in a screen material, and turned off one at night. I also put a small net in the back chamber of the biocube so if he went back there, I wouldn't have to worry about him getting torn up by the pump. The FIRST night I left my powerheads on without screening, the bta walked right into it.

This new RBTA however won't leave the rock its on. I've tried everything to get it off the rock, (ice cube, powerhead, shade from light etc) and he moves to a better spot, but won't leave the rock. so I guess I just got lucky with this nem.

I have a vortech mp10 which comes with a handy foam cover... i imagine any powerhead intake could be fairly anemone-proofed with a foam covering.

Vortech pumps have sweet covers that stop them getting sucked in. I use them till they are settled.

I have had two BTAs and one carpet anemone. Both BTAs are great, but the carpet got killed by peppermint shrimps.... :-(

My BTA has only moved about 6 inches since I got it. My tube nems of course don't climb, my flowers never took at interest in the glass, so its a gamble but I don't use any covers.

I used to put a hairnet around the pump, folded over a couple of times, worked a treat, and just threw it away each month and popped a new one on.
I know other people who use a orange net, or the net from a maxi pack of baby bell cheeses.
