Thought y'all might like this. I have a power monitor hooked up on every circuit in my house - so I can see real time what my house is drawing from any particular point.

Anyway, here it is for my aquarium. Hardware in the signature.

The bumps in the middle of the night are my 300 watt heater. It only comes on at night apparently.

My house has 4 zones and the zone the aquarium is in is only heated to 68 at night. Hence the heater spikes. You'll notice the baseline is steady at 65 watts. This is my HOB skimmer, powerheads, and a HOB filter I have that runs my carbon 24/7.

Then the step pyramid is my lights - actinics and then day lights. Again, HW in the sig.

The software also calculates my costs, based on rates I fill in. In a nutshell, my setup costs me less than $1 a day and less than $10 a month in power, based on current software projections (full disclosure, which have only been running for 17 days)
