powerhead question

    hey everyone my powerhead that is connect with an aire line to my overflow box blows out alot of micro bubbles ....... any way to prevent this ??????

    Change it out for an "aqualifter".......;)

    can you take the airline tube off? that will stop it. what is the airline doing on there anyway? :confused:

    I second the aqualifter. I use a manual siphon started U tube and it works fine. Maybe get rid of the PH all together? I think it's fun starting to siphon too...but that's just me.

    You won't think it's fun during/after a small flood. Kinda why I advised the "nipple" with the aqualifter........

    Yeah still working on that :D It's a new tube and it's been going flawlessly for over a week so I don't see any floods in the near future...better safe than sorry, however.

    thanks for the help everyone !!! getting rid of the micro bubbles will be great. they are so many and they are so small, almost makes the tank look cloudy

    I have run three different PHs with my CPR and they all give out some bubbles....not a lot. If you want to get rid of them totally, the aqualifter is the way to go as stated many times above. Personally, I don't mind a few bubbles and the added flow (albeit small) they offer.

    hey ahaha found my thread again.....anyway ignore my other thread "quick Question" sooo heres the big Q what size aqualifter should i get and is that the brand or is there a certain brand i should get

    and pharmrjohn i wish i only had a few bubbles mines reiculous like sometimes they are big and u just cant see like anything its horrible
