    My brother (turbo) whom we all call Joe.  Had a blue damsel sucked into the Powerhead. He solved this by stitching the intake with fishing nylon. He created a small net like 4 stitchings by 4 stitchings and the problem has been resolved.

    My powerhead has gills on the side so there is the intake isn't really an issue.

    Oh, sorry about the snail.  I think I lost one last night also.  A big one, he was just lying there, moving very little.  Maybe he was just sick or maybe not. We'll find out today.
