    I keep having issues with the Korallia Evo pumps. After having one blow and a few impellors locking up, I have decided to look in to something else.

    I would love to go with a MP40W ES, but the funds are not there right now and I am having a hard time agreeing with putting something on the outside of the tank. I think it will take away from the look. I have been looking in to the new tunze turbella design. I like how you have a huge range of motion and a wide flow radius as well as the low wattage consumption. What I don't like are the prices. I would slowly replace my korallias with the tunze pumps to make it cost effective.

    Besides closed loop, what other options do I have? Any suggestions?

    If price is an issue you could probably buy a used vortech for a reasonable price. Don't know about this site, but on other sites I see them for sale all the time.

    I see them for sale reasonably often, just not for the price I am willing to pay.
