Korallia type wave makers are very popular SeminoleB
althernatives such as Tunze and Seio also have many fans

these spread the flow out over a wider area and thus are easier to control/ manipulate into position without concerns over to much flow pointed in 1 direction (as you would get with a standard powerhead like an uncoverted maxijet)

I would agree with Steve as I usually do. Koralia powerheads arent cheap but they are well worth every penny. I use them and love them.

I have mixed opinions on the Koralia powerheads. I really do like them alot along with the wavemaker but I must say I'm a bit frustrated with them. The rubber bumper on the cover broke on both powerheads in my tank. Contacted Hydor and they sent me 2 replacements. Almost after 1 month of use 1 of the replacements bumper has broken off again.

Again, Great powerhead but frustrating if it breaks its cover.
