So i have been selecting fish for my fowlr, 120gl.
    would a
    Volitan Lionfish, Colored
    Radiata Lionfish
    Mombasa Lionfish or Fumanchu

and an indian trigger and a picasso trigger.
My plan is to upgrade tank in a year to a 200-300 gallon fowlr,
so Plan is to start with these small, but can 3 lions live with triggers?

i suppose it could be done but i dont think predatory tanks exist without some moderate aggression.

I'm not sure the two triggers could live together in the tank. I would stay conservative on the fish until you have the upgraded tank. Possible go with the lions then add the triggers after the upgrade.

Yes I was worried about that. The lionfish's are definitely cool. Hmm since triggers won't be for a while should I stick with the three types or I could go with four in a 120. 48x24x24. About 150 lbs of live rock.

Also a side question If I'm designing a füture upgrade and am basing the tank around a fowlr setup and it will be mostly triggers and lionfish. How important is depth compared to height and length. Obviously many options. What I would love is a cube 48x48x36.
Or for those types would a 86x36x24
    Work better?
How important is height for their environment?

I've read different places that trigger can sometimes nip at lion's fins. Many moons ago in my youth father kept a lion & a niger trigger together without issue, so like most anything in this hobby they can live together (or not) on a roll of the dice. lol.
