Yeah Ive had wayyy too many close calls. I hit one with a brand new car once. 52 miles on it, that wasnt cool at all. $13,000 of damage (mostly becuz of the airbags) Once i drove by this "haunted" cemetery, goodleburg cemetery, and there were like 10 deer running in circles in the road. It was the freakiest thing I have ever seen. And of course their eyes were glowing red from the reflection of the lights... a little creepy. I swear they are attracted to my car tho. Any time I drive around dark I will see them. Even in places you would never expect to see them. Too many of them around here. I know they released a couple of mountain lions but I think they are talking about releasing wolves now too.

We have a lot of deer around here. I usually don't seem them this early in the year. Mostly in the summer. But the weather's been so warm and sunny - I think they think it's summer!

We've got lots of wildlife here! I see coyotes and bobcats quite often - and there are lots of cougar sightings in my neighborhood (though I don't like that!). Lots of herons and eagles.....and some huge raccoons too! :)

Oh, and I have some owls living in my backyard too. Those really creep me out!!

That looks like my backyard. We have about 4-5 deer that usually stick around our neighborhood. Then add in the flock of 30+ turkeys that frequently take up residence in our front yard, the eagles that sometimes nest by our river, and the family of foxes that we see each year and you could practically open a zoo at our house.

Actually Tomita is right ;) Without hunting, animals would be eeeeevvveeeerrrryyywhere. Plus hunting is probably more humane than buying meat at a store. At least with hunting you have total control over the situation and the animal has a good chance of outsmarting you. With commercial harvesting, it's just a one way street for animal kind.

I like deer :) I like them at petting zoos too!!!

I still think we got you guys beat. We had peacocks in our front yard a few weeks ago
