    Sorry for the crap pics, blackberry cam.

    The blasto is glowing so brightly that it almost distorted the pic entirely whereas the plate corals light green glow was impossible to catch on this camera.


    In the first two pics of the plate on some of the high ridges you can see a bit of white. I do not know if this is exposed skeleton (hoping not) or if it's just where the skin was pulled close a bit....

    Well I went for the T5 lighting upgrade. Just got back from the LFS where they had the Y5 retrofit kits for about $130. Screwed it right in to my hood.

    The lighting upgrade came as a rude surprise. I bought new lightbulbs and was swapping them out. When I plugged everything back in my old unit did not come back on, sending me scrambling at 4:30 to a shop that closes at 5pm.


    Kudos to Blue Ribbon Koi in Manassass, VA. They rock my socks off.

    So I'm thinking of placing patches of briarium or blue clove polyps on the back glass. What do you guys think?
