    Day 4 of setup and everything looks pretty good. I'll post up the pics I have thus far once I get home. I think I got a little blue leg hermit as a hitchhiker so we'll see how he fares through the cycle. Cycling shouldn't be too terrible because all of the rock is precycled, as is the water. The only thing that should take time is for the live sand to really seed with the bacteria it needs.

    Well the 5g is up and running. I've been taking a pic every couple of days or so. The tank inhabitants are a blue leg hermit, cerith snail, a peppermint shirmp named Guss, mmushroom coral, zoanthids and some devil's hand leather which was extending the first couple of hours in the tank.

    Well folks, the tank is coming along really nicely now. I'll actually have pics tonight! Woohoo!

    The current inhabitants/stats follow:

    5.5g Ecoxotic Pico Reef
    8.5lbs Pukani LR from my LFS
    5lbs live sand

    Frags of:
    Various zoas/palys and micro polyps
    Green and purple acan
    Acro frag

    Livestock:
    Various pods, worms, snails and crawlies
    Yellow sea cucumber


    Future livestock:
    3-5 sexy shrimp
    tiny tailspot blenny
    Lots more coral :shifty:

    Well I'm excited for tomorrow. I get my Happy Coral order in and am so excited! Got a gift cert for Christmas and couldn't wait to use it. Will update with pics when the order gets in!

    Got my shipment in and I'm loving the new zoas. I'm keeping the 5g simple with various softies. I picked up Pink Eaters, green/purple/red polyps and some Happy People Eaters. HPE's didn't open and eventually fizzled out but that's ok because everything else was amazing.

    Placing a new order for a Joker yuma and 4 sexy shrimp. I can't wait to get them in!

    [​IMG] This shrimpy is on the container my Joker yuma is in. I'm attaching it to a piece of rock.
    [​IMG]This pic may not be too clear since it was taken on my phone but I ordered 3 sexy shrimp from Happy Coral (best place ever) and here is one eating an asterina star! Yes the shrimp actually ate some of the star, so strange. Thought I would share :)
