Ok. More updates. Pics in June, LMAO!!

Introduced an ocillaris clown and a red firefish (and they get anlong and "play"?!) to the tank since my last update! Zoas are doing great, duster is happy. No casualties thus far.

Scooter blenny I gave to someone with a better established tank so that she would be happier.
Algar blenny is a hog and eats up those algae sheets FAST!!
Shrimp and CUC are all alive and well.

    Uhm...what else.

I took the filter floss and pad out of my filter and left the carbon and bio rings... My lighting crapped out.

    I think that's about it!

Oh and I found a peanut worm but I haven't seen him since and I have all these little spiral hard tube things on my glass now.

That's good news. I wish I could get my algae blenny to accept seaweed sheets. I'm starting to get worried about him.

Kind of. All the lfs had was a single strip light....GREAT :(
I picked up the strip light as I needed something, ANYTHING, for light in the tank.....I'll be upgrading as soon as I can but the zoas seem fine thus far and those are the ones I was concerned about! Freakin single bulb strip too :( If I want my actinics on I have to change bulbs....How lame?!

I put a little garlic on mine the first few days..... At first he wouldn't touch it but he warmed up and now I have to leave them out for a day or so so that he actually does his job on the algae in the tank!!!!!
He's about 4" long already....Got him big but he's fantastic!

Just T5s, I'm not keeping any SPS. They don't interest me like the softies do. The upgrade should be within the next couple of weeks. Seems like a long time but these zoas were in lower light than this when I bought them and they were flourishing. I kept them in a little bit lower spot in my tank before and moved them to the top with this light. Really, they're getting about the same lighting they were before.

I think after a day of dark the zoas didn't care what light they were getting as long as it was something!!

Came home and found my small hermit on the zoas. I thought it was trying to eat them until I looked closely. He was cleaning up in between them!! He's so nice :) LMAO
At first I thought I was going to have a mini crab boil :(

So one of my hermits bumped my zoa colony and it almost fell over. While I was moving the zoa back to it's spot I saw some little "bugs." They're bigger than copepods of course, since I can see them, and I've been looking for pics online that are similar. I've come across amphipods. Those seem to be the closest resemblance I could find and I'm still not sure as I only caught a brief look before whatever they were scuttled back into the rocks...... Any ideas? Time to freshwater dip the zoas?
