Also, can I use a soft brush or cotton swabs to clean them better? Apparently I didn't do a very good inspection job first time around :(

I wouldn't do anything unless the zoas stop opening up or if they start shrinking and disappearing or somehow looking bad.

Also if you get a good T5 fixture and bulbs you'll be fine for anything, even SPS, they're a great versatile option.

Also you might consider gluing your frags down if they're in the their final resting place so they don't get knocked around. Get a couple tubes of super glue gel and clean off both rocks with a toothbrush and stick em together!

Yeah, they're fully open so not a biggie. On one of the zoas the "stalk" has what looks like a little bit of algae on it or like it's shedding maybe? Who knows, but even that one is looking awesome.

So some new things popping up in the tank:

    Found a couple pineapple sponges
I found another peanut worm by following a spiraling trail of poop
Found where my thousands (and I mean thousands) of copepods like to hang out today, they're everywhere!
Found my first spots of coralline algae on my skimmer pump :D

And pretty quickly. I don't know what I'm doing to make things mature so quickly but the tank likes it!!! It's only been up since late February!

June is coming around fast, birthday time and I'll have my new camera to take pics for you guys!!

That is the truth if I ever heard it!!

*knocks on wood for good measure*:)

I also have a bunch of little hard spiral shelled worms stuck on everything from snail and hermit shells to glass and LR. They look like little featherdusters. Anyone know what these are specifically? They seemed to bloom almost out of nowhere. it was like one day they weren't there and the next, there they were!

So a couple of nights ago I threw some romaine lettuce in the tank to spice up the blenny's diet a bit, give him some variety. Blenny hasn't touched the lettuce but apparently romaine is to hermits as catnip is to cats. They were going CRAZY over it! Every crab in my tank was sitting on the rock mowing down lettuce when I got home last night :shifty:
