This tale begins with an encrusting montipora and a bump into the aquarium glass, resulting in a broken coral that was brand new. I took the piece and glued it to a frag plug ... thinking that one day I'd sell it.

    Here is that frag ...

About three months later ... there was noticeable growth, and I thought to myself ... this coral is starting to look pretty good ... maybe I'll hang onto it:

After the second photo, I started to dose with the Bulk Reef Supply two part kit. I maintain the levels rather high, and have been getting noticeable growth.

This is 3 months after the middle photo ... where you can see a huge jump in growth rate. This frag is about half the size of the main colony already ... and growing quick!

And this is a photo of the mother colony for reference:

Bulk Reef Supply is a company that has developed their own dosing system which is quite popular due to ease of use, and the fact that its cost friendly.

The customer service has been great, prices have been great, and as you can see, I'm quite happy with the results of their products!

This is actually a better representation of the mother colony as it currently sits. The first pic is about a month old, where as this photo was taken two days ago.

I'm actually thinking about busting another piece off just to see how fast it will grow with the new levels in the tank ...

Just glad you guys enjoyed it!

I'm going to have to start a log of some of my other pieces.

I've noticed a huge boom in my Blasto Wellsi!
