    I'm looking for a good reliable & easy to use/maintain skimmer that doesn't
    require much adjusting when water levels in my sump change.

    Can you suggest a good brand & model for a fish only 125 gallon tank?
    I'd like to do corals at some point.

    What brands & types (i.e. Venturi, etc) are good reliable models in the $200-300 range? Which brands/types do i avoid?
    I'll even try to keep an eye out for a good deal on a used on ebay!

    There isn't any skimmer that is going to be happy with varying water levels. They will all give inconsistent performance in inconsistent water levels. Is this going to be in sump, external...?
