PS3 users? Or anyone?

    Well, I've been searching everywhere for my problem ( even called activison to no avail)

    So here is the question...
    I'm trying to play CODmw2 online.
    I can log in to PSN no problem there
    I can start the game fine
    I can send and receive messages

    BUT when I hit " play online" in multiplayer
    I get this small screen saying..

    ONLINE STATUS
    fetching playlist...
    Updating ranks and unlocks...
    Connecting to matchmaking server complete.

    And nothing else... It stays there..
    It doesn't let me play online.
    I can leave it for hours ( left it over night) and nothing.

    What can i do to fix it?
    My internet works fine anywhere else.

    I should mention it was working perfectly fine the day before yesterday and I have not messed with anything at all.

    Have you played any other games online?

    Any firewalls or router you can bypass for a test run?

    Haven't tried to play online in other games. But I can log in to psn. It just gets stuck there. A year ago it was a patch problem and everyone encountered this problem sometime .
    But now? I have asked my friends around and they can all play just fine.
    Since I'm in college I can't mess with firewall or router.
    What bothers me is that it was working fine. And I doubt someone messed with the router/firewall.

    Dont know anyone yet with a ps3 and mw2...
    I'll take my ps3 to a friend's room and see if it works there.
