i recently bought a new porcupine puffer and about 15 min. after i put him in he was playing around and attacked the air comming from my airstone. almost 905 of the time he faces downward (not straight down , at a slant) but when hes swwing around he swims normal do you think its possible that he my have ingested some air. if so will he be okay?// (did not puff, jus attacked)

he is most likely fine, he will burp the air out if he got any. I would get rid of the airstones and replace it with a new powerhead. Puffers are strong fish

even if he did chances are he will be fine if that is the case, many puffers eat insects off the waters surface injesting some volume of air.

also puffers like to screw around, they get bored some pass the time buy spitting water at you and some do flips.

Hi, he's o.k. Some exhibit that behavior, like a hawk perched looking for prey.

Not really, and will eat almost anything that moves (crabs, snails etc.) more for fish only.
