well, I will play devils advocate here....I would avoid the black dogface puffer IMO!

I wanted one a couple years ago, and my LFS brought one in. In a couple days it developed ick while it was still in the store. They ordered another one for me..same thing. It happened with 2 more black puffers. I found out that these fish are just like some of the tangs, more prone to ick then others. Something about lack of slime layer or something......Plus wiht puffers there is NO treatment that you can really safely do to treat ick.

I have a large golden puffer. I will tell you that larger puffers are VERY VERY messy eaters and I would not push adding one to a tank that would not support it. Will onlly stress out all the fish you have along with the puffer

Patience, patience. If you're thinking of upgrading soon then just wait, you'll live without adding more stock to a tank you already think is eventually going to be overstocked!
Also I don't think even a 120g is suitable for that puffer that grows over 1 foot in length unless you're planning on selling/trading/giving it away before it reaches maturity.

Also Scott's fairy wrasses are known to be one of the more aggressive fairy wrasses FYI, also mystery wrasses can be agressive as well so just FYI.

hey Screwtape thanks for the info on the wrasses. I was reading on it, all I was really looking at was if they were reef safe.... I think I will just with what I have, and keep adding corals...
