Anyone have the 100gpd one? I'm looking at picking one up but before I drop $300+ on an ro system I'd like to make sure their not a total POS :)

for that kind of cash i'd look at the SpectraPure Maxcap
    MAXCAP RO/DI SYSTEM

somewhere around here there is a 10% or 20% 3reef discount code too.

big thing with the puratek is it's supposed to be a 1:1 ratio ro system, put 2 gallons in and get 1 clean and 1 waste out

The Puratek will not last. Spectrapure and all the others who have been in business for 25 years+ tried what they are attempting and gave up on iy years ago. If it were that easy and cheap they would have all had them years ago. The Puratek is also poorly constructed, the ones I have seen use cheap wire nuts and 120v AC power rather than sealed connections and 24v DC power. I don't expect them to be around for long once UL gets on to them.

eh, yeah probably just going to go with a airwaterice typhoon 3 extreme or something like that I'll get a booster pump add on to make sure it gets enough pressure to work as effectively as possible and just go from there
