    I was thinking of getting some at reefcleaners, but was wondering what the difference is between base rock and Fiji rock. All the rock becomes "Live" overtime, right?

    umm..yes, it does. Though Fiji rock is "live rock" & you will have a long cycle if you get a large amount(same for any LR). Fiji is just a specific kind. I thik there is also fiji base rock. I think you ca get it from BRS.
