ok, i stumbled upon this AWSOME looking deal. I am willing to spend this money if its worth it and it does look worth it i just want to see if it is what it looks to be. Any comments? im buying the 22 gallon with 59 watt T5's and a stand. it looks awesome for $400+shipping. Please dont disappoint me! it looks really good so tell me your feedback (YOUR GOOD FEEDBACK). It just looks like the kit ive always been looking for. you know, the bio-cube perfected. Keep in mind for flow, i have two Koralia powerheads on their way from ebay.

In my opinion, I would skip it. I don't think I would ever buy new again.
Surf craigslist. For the $600 or so you would spend on that, you could probably get a good turn-key 75 gallon.

No, but if you went and got a 20 gallon tank, a single pump, and mechanical filter (really that's all those tanks are) you would be out about $70 at the pet store ;)
Its really a matter of personal taste. I have never really been a fan of the "kits". Just in my opinion, you are paying WAY too much for way too little.
I am having trouble finding things in their site. What type of bulbs does it run? Single, individual, or no reflectors? Ballast? Output rating on return pump?

Probably soft corals and a few lps. 56w of T5 over a 22 isn't all that much. I have to agree with packleader here, I feel that the kits just aren't worth it. You usually don't get very good equipement. However, if you have your heart set on it, then go for it. You could do a review on this site.

i know what you are all saying. Kits really are bad but this one i have heard phenomenal feedback on it and how there are no mods needed at all. This is a different kit. These are new and apparently very well designed. Im very happy about my purchase and cant wait till it gets here

When this tank does come, I have my rock and water in my 20 tall sump (just for holding temporarily) There are 2 filters in there and a heater. I also have all the sand in a bucket. Im probably going to end up buying one more bag of sand. Anyways, if literally everything from my old 20 gallon is being transferred to the new 20, how long should i wait before adding my fish? will there be a cycle? a mini one? do i still consider this tank a brand new tank?

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Sounds like you already had your mind made up before you started this thread. Buying a small tank like that new is a waste of money. Just to give you an example I bought a 3yr old 125g tank, oak stand, canopy with fans that opens. 2 36" orbit MH 150 watt lights with external ballast, 1/2hp chiller/pro aquatics sump/refuge/skimmer/ heaters powerheads and more stuff I cannot remember for 800 bucks!!!
