Has anybody used this stuff? My lfs recommened for my "fog". All my params are good ammonia 0 trite 0 trates 10-20. Right now I just have fish and some inverts. I've been working on doing a decent size water change hopefully about 20-30% My tank has been cloudy for about a week now, cut back on feedings, cleaned my lines, and rinsed my carbon put new in about 2 weeks ago and rinsed it 2 days ago. Any advice would be great thank you.

    I use it also

I have it in a bag in a cannister filter at present
seems to do a good job of polishing the water

How old is your tank if not a bacteria bloom it looks like its new with new with new substrate that needs to settle. I used purigen on a FW tank for years with no ill effects but did not see any reason to continue use sicne it was so expensive and it never helped with nitrates (WC were the only thing to help me there) and all my other parameters were stable. Water was crystal though but that was even before the purigen

I put it in my BC29 about a month ago and it seems to be working really well (admittedly, so far). I did some research on it before taking the dive and couldn't find anyone that had anything bad to say about it. Supposedly you can recycle it and reuse (confirmed by a few users), but I haven't had to do that yet.

The tank is a little over 3 months old, cloudy water has been about a week. The substrate was nasty 2 weeks ago thats when the green algae on the rocks started. but clean up crew loved the nasty sand and cleaned it up in about 3 days. Tested my params today amm 0, trite 0, trates 5-20, phos 0. Any idea how long will last? Thanks for all of the replies!
