    My purple firfish has a pimple like thing on him. It isn't graining like ich. Here a pic.

    Is some other kind of parasite besides ICK.

    My CB gets similar now and then, but disappears after couple of days.

    Try using garlic xtreme with the food you are feeding. Some people say it can change the pH of the body of the fish - causing the parasite to be unable to survive. It should also help boost the fish's immune system.
