Purple spots???

    I was wondering if those purple spots on my LR and back of my fish tank is coraline algae?? Anyone know?? I have a 29g biocube

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    If it does not come off when you touch it or feel slimy than it is probably coralline.

    dark purple spots = GOOD

    sounds a lot like it could be coralline to me

    it always starts in my tanks on the plastics or the tank itself as almost circle in shape and these expand ( not the ones on the front glass as they get removed pretty quickly)
    eventually they meet up with another and eventually you find yourself with a
    the artist formerly known as Prince of a tank
