    Hey,
I found this guy in my tank tonight. It is very small just a couple mm and kinda cream coloured. Is a pyramid snail. I'm thinking about getting a clam soon. I have never had one in the tank before though.

Took him out to get a good pic. I saw 3 more, so if they are pyramid snails they will have to go anyway.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It does not really look like a pyramid to me, but I would wait for member pagojoe to chime in.

That link was very helpful. After reading through it I don't think these are pyramid snails. They were on the glass and didn't seem to be bothering my other snails.
    Thanks . k+

I agree with that now. Thank you for the reassurance. k+
    I will pm him.

Yeah, I know that particular snail. I've found lots of them in clean white sand around coral slabs. It's a rissoid, not a pyramidellid. I wish they were all that easy lol.

    Cheers,

    Don

    Yes, I am. Extremely.
I've been planning getting a clam soon, so it would have really sucked having pyramid snails.

Thanks, I was quite surprised by them.
