Hi, i have my powder blue with ich i been giving ICH.ATTACK from KORDON aqua herbals to my PT it is supposed to be safe to corals. I got borrowed a 12 gal. tank with filters i want to set it up as my qt and i want to take out the powder blue and put it into my new qt.

The question is i dont know if the powder blue will handle ok in a samll tank. The other purpose is that i also have a yellow tang and he seems to not eat and im preaty worried, he wont swim and he looks like he is laying down all the time. So the other purpose is to make my yellow tang the dominant one in my tank and see if this could help him eating.
Please help. dont know what to do. THANK YOU.

If the BT is eating I would leave him in the tank. Catching him will cause more stress. Try soaking his food in Vit C or some garlic extract.

I agree with Otty, catching him will cause more stress. However, there's more. If you reintroduce the PBT after taking it out, it may fight the YT. With Tangs, there's no guarantee, even with different genus's.
