    OK, this is a little hypothetical because I'm not sure if I'm actually going to get a chromis fish, but if fish are schooling fish and are supposed to be bought in odd numbers, how do you quarantine individual fish?

    If I wanted 3 chromis fish, do I put all 3 in the QT at once or buy them one at a time over a few months?

    I would QT all of them at once. I have 4 and none of them died. If you buy them one by one, the new addition might die because the chromis want to establish rank.
