    It could be stretching for light and can also have too much flow causing it to stretch.

    some people say its the flow, or it needs a clown in it to tell you the truth no one nows

    I'm actually not too sure about the whole tentacle behaviour in BTA's. My rose bubble tip BTA started as a very bubbly anemone, then as it grew the tentacles stretched out until the bubbles were completely absent. Now it's more compact and very bubbly again.

    It might be the flow but it is not the light. I have had a rose Anemone for quite sometime and it is always long and not bubbly. I have a 6 bulb t-5 unit with 4 18k daylight and 2 420nm it is happy and hosted but never bubbly. I doubt the lights are an issue.
