Question about Cyano Bacteria

    So far when I've had a Cyano outbreak in my tank, it's always been on the front of the tank, usually on the sand. Any particular reason for this?

    Is it a low flow area? Thats where it usually is.

    Low flow area with higher light. Where things seem to settle. I blow mine with a turkey baster every once in a while. Helps a lot.
