So i got in about 300 dwarf ceriths from reefcleaners... (thanks john!) i floated them and put them in my 90 gal. about 1/3 of them are moving a little bit but the others seem to just move tiny amounts if none at all. i understand that they take a while to come out but when they do will they move up into my rocks? my sand bed looks like pepper right now haha.

Mine layed there on the bottom until overnight. Next morning they were gone and distributed all over the tank. Mine are much more active at night.

Ya I got my cuc from him just days ago and they will chill on the bottom for a while.Wait till your lights go off though. It will be a mass pilgrimage onto the glass.Check after about an hour after the lights go out.Its funny. It will seem like they just go up and down but after a few days you will see them beginning to thin out from your sand and more disperced onto the rocks.Just give them time.

+1 on talking to John. I wouldn't worry right away. I thought mine were dead, but all turned out fine.

I can take them up to 3 days to get moving, hang in there.
