So I'm not sure if this would be the correct forum... But the site I purchased a orange frilly sponge and red tree sponge classified them as inverts. (They have a few days before they get here)

Anyways about the only info I've been able to find on acclimating is that they should never touch air and float about 40mins - 1 hour. Please correct me if Im wrong or there is more Im suppose to do.

My questions are is my lighting sufficient? (coralife 40/40 actinics)

I know my water parameters are excellent.

My flow should be decent for them I believe. 120 gal. running a magnum350 *supports 100g, and an overhead that supports 75g and a 300gph penguin powerhead

How do I place a sponge? or do they place themselves? (should i have protective gloves on my hands when touching? or dont touch at all?

Any of those questions answered and tips would be awesome, or if anyone knows a good sponge info site that would be awesome! Pics will come soon! :)

Temperature Acclimate and feed Plankton the frilly requires moderate to strong water flow and low lighting and same with the red tree sponges
