What is, that almost clear film, that the foxface sheds every now and then? Could it be its venom? I've seen it before but didnt know where it was coming from until today. Anyone?

I have one too and have noticed this....from all of my research they produce a slime which helps protect them against infections and stuff. But they will shed this ever so often.......Hope this helps.

Is that from the Foxface? No s*&t!! I didn't know that. I thought my snails made that stuff. My foxface eats it if it's floating around....hmmmm... strange!
