I have lunar lights and a light fixture that are seperate. So I want the lunar lights to come on for an hour and then turn off for ten hours and come back on for anther hour and then shut off. For the ten hour time between that the main fixture will be on.

My question is that, Will the Coralife timer strip be able to do this without another timer.

Coralife Power Center Day-Night Timer or Wave-Maker Timer Power Strips & Timers

    Thanks,

IMO the Coralife timer is a piece of junk. I had the dual timer unit and it started getting stuck and stopped working after 9 months. I thin you're better off buying a separate timer and separate power strip if required from Target or Home Depot.

Not sure on that one. With the digital, you can. The only issue is that you cannot run the daytime and nighttime plugs at the same time.

And I am with pgreef. I dislike the coralife timers. I have one that I used for a few months before it started tweaking out on me.

I agree too. Mine failed 2 months into owning it. Now it's only good for the unswitched outlets.

Ok thanks, I will not be using that power strip then.

Thanks again for all the help,

I too hate those timers. Went through a couple digital and a couple like the picture before I gave up on them. Junk.

Just FYI, you can leave your moonlights on all night or even 24hrs a day. They're just LED and will have minimal impact to your electric bill and will not do anything positive or negative to your tank or its inhabitants. You can take timers for moonlights out of the equation if you so desire.

Mine are photocell and come on when the main lights go off and stay on until the main lights come on again.
