i just got my kalk so i can kill my GSP, its a powder.

To make it into a paste does it matter what water i need to use, is tap ok? and then once its in a paste i just lather it on the gsp?

I would use either RO or tank water Puffer. Just start by adding a few drops until it turns to a paste like texture. Is the rock removable? If it is and it is not too large try and smear the paste outside of the tank, and let it dry for a minute or two. Then set it back in and wait for the results :)

I believe her Zoas are on that rock as well... Do you have a way to keep them submerged and not the GSP... I think zoas are ok to be out of water for a few minutes if im not mistaking.

Zoas will be fine as long as they stay even a little wet. I have seen people ship them just like live rock with a wet newspaper wrapped around them.

Usually you want to use a separate container with RO water when you add it. Let it sit for an hour so you can skim off the top surface crap that just clogs your connections and then place the rest of the water into your kalk drip system.

*My mistake, I noticed you are using the paste method. Disregard.

so i just used a little bit of tank water, and got it up to paste. i lifted my live rock that had the coral, looked all over to try to find the GSP i couldnt find the mat. A few days ago the zoa frag had come unglued and fell, so i had to reglue it in a different spot and a different areaon the rock. So i think i either unknowingly put the glue on the GSP or it's facing my live rock.

So i guess i will just have to wait to see if it grows, i'm hoping i just happend to place the glue where the the gsp was growing, because if its facing my live rock and it grows, there is no way i would be able to get to it. So im crossing my fingers that i put the glue on the gsp
