question on lighting fixture

    im looking to buy the current nova extreme pro 6x54w 10k and actinic bulbs gives off 324w. this is for a 55 gallon reef. i just want to know if this lighting fixture is good for a 55 gallon reef and will i be able to keep sps or lps corals? if this fixture isnt any good could you recommend any other fixtures?

    That fixture is fine. I have the 4 bulb model on my 75g and it grows a lot. It really depends on the place ment of your corals.

    BTW, this is a great fixture. The built in fans help with heat and their are dual switches, for a dawn dusk lighting schedule.

    Save yourself some dough. The four bulb fixture is plenty of light for a 55.;D
