    Im getting ready to set up an 150 gallon salt water tank,would 3 bags of 40 pounds of sand be enough for my tank,amount to 120 pounds.

    should be enough. I only have about 100 lbs in my 150 and it gives me about a 2 inch bed

    should be good. what are the dimensions of the new tank and style though?

    His has some bare spots where his flow has blown it away. If you want total coverage you have to look at everything you want in there and what kind of flow you are going to have to have!

    A good guideline is 1# per gallon...
