    I would go 8 lamp....
Skip Tek and get Aquactinic SLRs, more space or more lamps..... either way its a good thing!!

Or you could go 8 lamp non overdriven;)

I was PM'ing with the OP, and while Joe (doc frag) knows I am not a fan of Over Driving t5ho bulbs, I think in this case it might be a better option... but that is up to you. most folks change bulbs out after a year anyways, and ODing 5 footers is not like cranking up the power to 2x the watts like on a 24" t5.

I can tell you from experience that 8 regular driven 60" will be perfect for an SPS/LPS tank. The bottom of the tank will not be too overwhelming to the LPS but you will have the ability to grow SPS on the sand as well if you would like.
You also have the benefit of having your lamps cover your whole tank unlike my tank. 60" lamps over a 72" tank... BUT I have the ends of the tank that are perfect for my lower light LPS.... For example most Acans are only found in like 100ish uMols in the wild. Perfect for my corners.

Good luck which ever way you choose!!
